Eliza Patch

Eliza Patch is an Heirloom doll made from Essex linen. She has wool felt eyes and hand embroidered details. Her legs are made from striped cotton. Her linen and wool felt boots are sewn in place.

Her romper is made from a handmade patchwork of many tiny scraps of Liberty of London Tana lawn fabric.

Eliza Patch’s hat is linen, trimmed with Liberty bias binding. It fastens under her chin with a vintage button and a little shirring elastic. The ears are made from linen and lined with Liberty Tana Lawn cotton. Her cardigan is hand knitted from a variety of yarns.

Heirloom dolls have button jointed arms and legs. They are stuffed with carded lambswool and contain armature wire so they can be posed.

14” (ish) cat doll (excluding hat), wired with aluminium wire, and stuffed with wool roving. Beeswax blush to the cheeks. You can remove the clothes carefully.
