Pipkin Jennie Mouse and mr Nibbles

Pipkin is a very small Jennie Mouse doll. She is about 4” tall. She is made from linen with waxed linen thread jointed arms. Her limbs are filled with chenille wire. She has a linen waistcoat with tiny buttons and cotton eaffle pants with an embroidery floss tail attached. She has a wool felt mouse hat which fastens with a little button and a loop of shirring elastic. The ears have Liberty scrap linings.

Pipkin is a sleepy- wakey doll. Her face is awake on one side and asleep on the other.

She has a bedding set made from linen, a Liberty fabric patchwork quilt and pillow and a striped cotton mattress.

The bed frame is handmade from wire and paper, pained and varnished. It has wooden ‘brass’ bedknobs.

In a little jersey stocking sits Mr Nibbles, a needle fekted toy mouse. Mr Nibbles does not have to stay in the stocking.

These dolls are hand stitched and the quilt is made by me on my antique hand cranked sewing machine.

PinkyMinky’s dolls are art dolls and not suitable for small children. They are delicate, one of a kind handmade pieces.
