Ianthe and Sweet Violet

Ianthe is a ginger cat made from shot cotton, with hand-embroidered details and button-jointed arms. She wears a romper made from quilters cotton and a bolero cardigan, hand knitted from merino wool and sari silk yarn. Ianthe also wears a wool felt hat topped with a bouquet of flowers, each hand crafted from wool felt, florist wire and glass beads. The flower and leaves are wired and can be posed. The hat fastens with a hand covered button and a little shirring elastic. She had green linen boots with wool felt details and linen thread laces.

Ianthe has a sweetie pie companion, Sweet Violet. Sweet Violet entirely hand stitched from wool felt, with needlefelted details and glass eyes. Her feet are made from florist wire wrapped in embroidery silk. Sweeet Violet can sit in Ianthe’s arms or stand freely on her feet.

The doll boots are made from linen and wool felt, with waxed linen thread laces. the boots cannot be removed.

There is a loop of strong thread at the back of the doll, should you wish to display her on your wall.

14” cat doll (excluding hat), wired with aluminium wire, and stuffed with wool roving. Beeswax blush to the cheeks. You can remove the clothes carefully.
