Edda Larkin

Edda Larkin is an orange shot cotton cat with wool felt eyes and hand embroidered details. She has a romper in Liberty Tana lawn cotton with the Strawberry Thief pattern in vivid colours on a dark blue background that matches her legs, and a yellow ochre handknit sweater in merino wool infused with sari silk. Edda has chenille boots. The boots cannot be removed.

This kitty has a wool-felt hat in dark teal. It is blanket-stitched by hand and fastened with a vintage button and a little shirring elastic. A delicately handcrafted little plant with yellow flowers, made from wire and paper and wool felt appear to grow out of the hat. The flowering plant has little needle-felted birds roosting in its branches. The plant is wired and can be posed gently.

Edda Larkin has a little wool felted nest with three little hand painted clay eggs inside. Edda likes to keep the nest safe in her arms, but it can be carefully placed in the plant or by her side.

Edda comes with a hand made wooden doll stand with soft armature wire that can be easily moulded to hold her just under her arms. The doll stand is painted and varnished.

14” cat doll (excluding hat), wired with aluminium wire, and stuffed with wool roving. Beeswax blush to the cheeks. You can remove the clothes carefully.
